Metal gutters are becoming more and more popular with all UK gutters becoming metal and coming away from plastic which does not last as long and is affected by the sun warping and losing colour.

Premier Cast Iron Rainwater and Soil
Premier Rainwater – Ex Stock
Premier Rainwater is a range of traditional cast iron pipes, gutters and fittings available “off the shelf”. These are standard products which have stood the test of time. Properly fitted our Premier products will enhance the exterior appearance of any building. Premier Rainwater Ex Stock is available as Premier Grey Primed or Premier Extra (PX) Black gloss. Other colours in the RAL or BS ranges are available ex stock but lead times will vary. We also offer Premier Coastal, essential to meet the rigours of a marine environment and, as for colour options, lead times will need to be agreed with our sales team at the time of order.
Premier Rainwater – Made to Order
Made to Order products do what they say on the tin. They are available within our range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales agreed in advance. They can be ordered in exactly the same way as ex stock products. They are available in all the same paint options as Premier Ex Stock.
Bespoke Products
What separates Hargreaves Foundry Drainage from other rainwater and soil manufacturers is our ability to make bespoke castings. Hargreaves is a working foundry with skilled pattern makers and moulders, specialist fabricators and painters and over a century of iron casting experience at our site in Halifax, Yorkshire.
We can make bespoke products to suit any building, ancient or modern, but these skills are most in demand by the conservation, heritage and restoration market. There is no need to resort to the various forms of plastic substitute on offer. Anything that has been cast in the past, for instance during the Victorian era, we can cast. If they could make it back then, we can make it now.
Premier LCC Soil
Hargreaves Premier LCC Soil is a traditional socket and spigot pipe system with fittings for above ground soil and waste. Most products are ex-stock but other items are available as made to order or bespoke.
Traditional LCC Soil (BS469) is coated in a bitumen paint.

Metal Solutions Zinc, Copper, Stainless Steel and Aluminium Gutters
Rainwater systems in light gauge metal such as GreenCoat, copper, brass, bronze, zinc, stainless steel or precoated aluminium, are becoming ever more popular as stand alone systems or to compliment a traditional metal roofing finish.
We offer a standard range of rainwater systems, including half round, square or ogee guttering, together with round or square down pipes.
A full range of accessories are available. Rainwater systems can be manufactured in all traditional metals – please contact us if you have any special requirements.
Zinc
Zinc gutters are made to order, the estimated lead time is 1-2 weeks but always check with us as this can change. The gutters are either soldered or bonded using a suitable sealant. Standard gutter is available in 2.4m lengths but can be made up to 4m. The range of gutters available include natural, pre-weathered (preaged, Neo) and black (Carbon, Noir).

Our Stainless Steel Rainwater System is manufactured from 0.5mm 316 grade Roofinox Classic. It can withstand wind and storm, is completely rust-free and is algae and mould-resistant.
Roofinox stainless steel is infinitely combinable with other building materials because of its brushed finish – both optically and technically. You can choose between the traditional half-round shape or the modern box shape.
The Roofinox Rainwater System is near to indestructible and practically maintenance-free. Roofinox stainless steel is sustainable and good for the environment. There is no traceable material erosion and it is non-reactive with water. It is produced from more than 85% recycled material, and the final product is 100% recyclable.

Struga Anthracite Rainwater Goods
The Struga range of rainwater goods is manufactured from GreenCoat RWS and hence is a perfect match for a GreenCoat PLX BT standing seam roof.
Intelligent design of the downpipes give a watertight yet seamless look to the system. The male to female interlocking joints on downpipes are cleverly contained as a part of the downpipe giving a clean and seamless finish to junction. All elements of the Struga Metal Gutter System are produced using Swedish Steel material giving long lasting colour fastness and fade resistance.
Struga Metal Gutter System components, gutters, pipes and accessories, do not crack during forming and installation allowing it to be installed even in winter. Benefits of the Struga Metal Gutter System include: good resistance to corrosion, good mechanical properties, easy to install, long useful life and limited maintenance requirements.

Lindab Rainline offers the highest quality when it comes to combining durability, flexibility and ease of installation. To provide long-term life, the steel is rustproofed by a 275g zinc coating. This galvanised coating is naturally self-healing; any scratch or cut is automatically sealed by zinc ions which migrate to re-coat the uncovered steel.
